Resolut Bluetooth
Now any Resolut processor with an Extension slot can be equipped with an optional Bluetooth Audio module with support for the latest aptX Lossless codec.
The Resolut plug-in module has several fundamental differences from external Bluetooth receivers connected via an optical or coaxial digital input. It interacts with the digital part of the processor directly via the I2S bus, has impedances designed for this application and is synchronized with the clock generator of the processor itself. This approach ensures optimal coordination of the module with the processor and completely eliminates errors and losses during digital signal transmission.
An important feature of Resolut's Bluetooth module is its expanded support for codecs, including aptX Lossless, which is part of the Qualcomm Snapdragon Sound platform. It was announced in September 2021, complementing the aptX family (which includes aptX, aptX HD, aptX Low Latency, aptX Adaptive), and is supported by many new smartphones.
According to Qualcomm, today aptX Lossless is the only Bluetooth codec that allows streaming audio in CD quality. Not only is it one of the best ways to transmit a music signal, along with Sony's LDAC and Apple's ALAC, but it was also the first to not use lossy compression methods.
